My stay was quite enjoyable overall with a great vibe about the place. The location was convenient to many attractions, making it easy to experience all that Pigeon Forge has to offer. The rooms were clean, but a bit small and dated with a lack of natural light. The staff was incredibly friendly and diligent, although the amenities could use some updating. I would definitely consider coming back for the activities outside, especially since it's so close to Dollywood.
I had a lovely stay at this resort, which struck a nice balance between comfort and convenience. The location is fantastic, just a short drive from Dollywood and Gatlinburg, making it easy to explore the area. The staff was warm and welcoming, which added to the overall positive experience. However, the units do feel a bit dated and could use some updates, and we did encounter some cleanliness issues in our unit.
The resort offers a great blend of helpful service and a clean, comfortable environment. The staff are enthusiastic and knowledgeable about local activities, making our stay enjoyable. However, the Wi-Fi was unreliable, which was a challenge as we needed to handle some work during our visit. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a family-friendly getaway, although some updates in the rooms would enhance the experience.
We were really disappointed during our stay. Our room was outdated and uncomfortable, and we faced several issues like no hot water and broken air conditioning. On the positive side, the location was decent and the night maintenance staff were incredibly helpful. However, the overall experience left much to be desired, so I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
My stay at Oakmont Resort was quite memorable with some outstanding service, particularly from David, who went above and beyond to assist us during our visit. The amenities for families were a big hit, especially the pool and playground that kept my toddler entertained. However, the room size was a bit misleading, as the beds were more like full size than queens, making sleep a bit uncomfortable. Also, while the resort has a nice, quiet vibe, the decor feels quite outdated and could use a refresh.
